Early Access
The alpha is the game
World Beyond Gods goes online with its first slice and grows, slice by slice, until the endgame is in. There is no separate test build: what you play is the game.
The model
Free while it grows, a subscription once it is whole
From the first slice, World Beyond Gods is online, and a new slice arrives every two to four weeks, each one a step towards the endgame.
Early Access is free to play until the endgame is in. Then the game moves to a monthly subscription, and we will announce the price before it begins.

Slice by slice
What each slice brings
The first slice opens both starting valleys at once, one for each people. The rest follow without dates, and the full plan is on the roadmap.

-
First slice
Saltglass Reach online
The Tidecrowned starting cove, levels 1 to 7: the town of Shellmoor, its own quest chain, the Rift over the kelp flats and the Tidemaw.
-
Then
The capitals
Cradlehorn on the crown of the highland plateau, and Whorlhaven on its lagoon.
-
Then
Dungeons and raids
Five-player dungeons and raids for ten to twenty, behind doors in the world, starting with the Marrow Deep under Emberfold's north rim.
-
Later
The Seam and the north
The shared lands where the two peoples meet, for levels 20 to 40.
-
Later
The living world
Zones that remember, living towns, cart trade, gathering, fields and herds, landing one by one.
-
At the endgame
The Rift-wound
The endgame lands at levels 40 to 50, and the Rift ladder you climb with Riftstones.
