No. Any character can tank, heal or deal damage; your gems, passive tree and gear decide which.

A violet wound in the sky over every farming valley. Fight beneath it and it angers until its boss descends; beat the boss and the Rift pulls everyone who fought into a realm of its own.

The holder of your skills: your skill and support gems socket into its six facets. It never levels; living gems that drop with rolled sockets, and crafting to improve them, come later.

Yes. A Rift reaches its boss in about the same time whether you fight alone or in a crowd, and at the endgame a Riftstone opens a private Rift in your own hideout.

Not at first. Arenas and opt-in duels come later, and nobody can attack you in the open world unless you have switched duels on.

Yes: you will sign in through our launcher to play. We will say when accounts open; the launch mail is the surest way to hear.
